DUSKMACHINE's JOE COMEAU Interviewed On 'Metalkast' (Audio)
July 25, 2013Ex-OVERKILL guitarist and former singer for such bands as ANNIHILATOR, TAD MOROSE and LIEGE LORD and current DUSKMACHINE vocalist Joe Comeau was interviewed for the latest episode of the "Metalkast" podcast. You can now listen to the entire show using the audio player below.
In addition to Comeau, DUSKMACHINE features in its ranks PRIMAL FEAR/ex-ANNIHILATOR drummer Randy Black, ex-ANNIHILATOR bassist Russ Bergquist and guitarist Nikolai Wurk.
DUSKMACHINE's self-titled sophomore album will be released on July 26 via Massacre Records. Songtitles that appear on the CD include "Endless", "Hands Of Fate" and "I Feel No Pain". The effort was mixed by Achim Köhler (PRIMAL FEAR, SINNER, BRAINSTORM) and mastered by Ken Burke.
The artwork for "Duskmachine" was designed and painted by artist Eliran Kantor, best known for his work with such bands as TESTAMENT, SODOM and HATEBREED. The idea for the piece was to create an assembly manual for the DuskMachine, hand-drawn by a mad scientist.
DUSKMACHINE's video for the song "Endless" was filmed in Berlin, Germany's MiddleEastMambo Studio with director Achilleas Gatsopoulos (Hypnagogia Films) and it features Joanna Tuczynska as "Religion" and "Temptation".
Some of you may remember Tuczynska from OOMPH!'s "Sex Hat Keine Macht" clip.
Says Comeau about the song: "'Endless' is about the ideal relationship...one that only happens to a minority of us. A relationship built in strength, passion and pure unselfish love. A relationship that stands the test of time, can't be broken, swayed or tempted and is the piece of the puzzle which makes us complete. A partnership of trust and understanding. Seek the truth, find the truth, embrace the truth. There can only be one outcome... 'We are endless.'"
DUSKMACHINE's debut album, "The Final Fall", came out in November 2005 through Twilight in Germany.
